Triple Chocolate Red Velvet Cookies
With three types of chocolate, these romantic red velvet cookies are so rich and decadent they are sure to delight your Valentine.

Ingredients:

14 T. Butter
1 3/4 c. Flour
3/4 c. Cocoa Powder
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/4 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 3/4 c. Brown Sugar
1 Egg + 1 Egg Yolk
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 T. Red Food Coloring
1 c. Marie's Dark Chocolate Baking Chunks
Marie's Red Foil Hearts

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a small bowl, sift flour, cocoa, baking soda, and baking powder.
Melt butter. When melted, add the brown sugar, vanilla, food coloring, and salt. Stir well. Add eggs and beat until smooth.
Gradually add the dry ingredients, stirring well until combined.
Stir in Marie's Dark Chocolate Baking Chunks.
Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on a cookie sheet.
Bake for 12-14 minutes, making sure not to over bake.
While baking, unwrap Marie's Red Foil Hearts.
When cookies are done, remove from oven and immediately place an unwrapped chocolate heart on top of each one.
Let cookies cool completely and enjoy!!!

Note: There are approx. 27 Marie's Red Foil Hearts in a half pound package. This recipe makes about 3 dozen cookies.

Mix the first four ingredients in a bowl. Follow the rest of the instructions above, baking at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
