Buckeye Cupcakes

These moist dark chocolate cupcakes are topped with a rich peanut butter buttercream frosting and a Marie's Candies Buckeye candy, so they look festive and taste fabulous!

1 Box Chocolate Cake Mix & necessary ingredients
1 c. Butter, softened
1 c. Creamy Peanut Butter
2 c. Powdered Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
Pinch of Salt
1/2 c. Heavy Cream
24 Marie's Candies Buckeyes

Prepare chocolate cupcakes according to instructions on box. When cooled, frost with peanut butter icing and top with a Buckeye.

For the frosting:
Beat together the butter, peanut butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt on medium-low speed until creamy. Add the heavy cream and beat on high until frosting is light and smooth.
