Caramel Crunch Apple Pie

Perfect to serve at a fall gathering, this warm cinnamon apple pie has a hint of chocolatey caramel and is finished off with a deliciously crunchy topping.

1/4 cup flour
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 TBSP butter, softened
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

6 cups apples, peeled & sliced
1 TBSP lemon juice
1/3 cup sugar
3 TBSP flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

1/4 lb. Marie's Candies Milk Chocolate Caramels, chopped
1 9-inch pie shell

Combine the first four ingredients in an 8X8 inch ungreased pan and bake at 400 degrees for 6-8 minutes until golden brown. Cool and crumble.

Sprinkle the apple slices with lemon juice. Combine the sugar, flour, and cinnamon and toss with the apples. Place the apple mixture into the pie crust and bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Then, reduce the heat to 375 degrees and bake for 35 minutes.

When the apples are finished baking, place the chopped Milk Chocolate Caramels over the apples and sprinkle with the crumble topping. Return the pie to the oven for five minutes. Serve warm & enjoy!!
