How soon are orders processed?
We process your order as soon as we receive it. It will usually ship the same or next day by UPS, except during the month of December. When your order ships, it leaves our building at approximately 3:00PM. That day does not count towards time in transit. Orders received at the end of the week may have to be shipped the following Monday. Normal business days for UPS are Monday through Friday.

Yes. When you send our candy as a gift, please fill in the gift message option on the order form. Your name will be attached to the gift if you don't include a message. Gift wrap is free.

How do I place multiple orders?
If you would like to ship to multiple addresses, please place a separate order for each address.

Should I refrigerate my chocolate?
We do not recommend refrigerating or freezing chocolate. Simply keep your chocolate in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. The temperature in a refrigerator is too low and the humidity too high, which can affect the appearance and texture of the chocolate, though it is still perfectly safe to eat.

Do you offer Sugar-Free chocolates?
Yes. We carry Sugar-Free chocolates sweetened with Maltitol. It is not a reduced-calorie food and if consumed in excess could result in digestive discomfort. It is not recommended for use by diabetics without first consulting their doctor.

Do you carry any candy suitable for people with allergies?
We are a facility that processes peanuts, tree nuts, milk, egg, soy, and wheat. However, we do carry some candies produced by other companies that guarantee not to have come in contact with peanuts. We also have chocolates which do not contain gluten. Please contact us for details. Email service@mariescandies.com or call (866) 465-5781.

What is the difference between White Chocolate and White Coating?
White Chocolate is considered "real" chocolate because it contains cocoa butter. It does not contain chocolate liquor which makes chocolate brown. It is an off-white color, has a mild cocoa taste and is great for snacking and making desserts.

White Coating is non-chocolate and made with vegetable oil. We use Coating to cover all of our "white" candies, as well as to mold all of our solid "white" pieces. It tastes like White Chocolate and is easier to work with in candy making than true White Chocolate, which is why we use it. Since it contains no cocoa, it is caffeine-free and safe for those with chocolate allergies.
